The Austin Air Allergy Machine is the only air
cleaner on the market that uses HEGA (High Efficiency Gas Absorption)
filtration.
HEGA filtration was first developed for the military as a defense against
chemical warfare. Austin Air took that technology added a true medical HEPA
filter and created the Allergy Machine.
The air cleaner is very effective in removing dirt, dust, pollen,
mold spores and other allergens as well as smoke, chemical fumes, smog and
noxious gases.
Like all Austin Air air cleaners, the Allergy Machine is all metal construction
and has a powder coat finish. The air cleaner is capable of
moving 400 cubic feet of air through the 4 stage HEGA and HEPA filter.
The result, more clean air delivered faster and more efficiently than any other
air cleaner on the market.
1st Stage – Pre-filter
The first stage removes particles large enough to be seen with the naked eye.
Particles like pet hair and household dust.
2nd Stage – Medium Particle Pre-filter
The second stage removes small and medium size
particles such as mold spores and pollen
3rd Stage – 60 Feet of True
Medical HEPA Filtration
This stage removes bacteria and other harmful microorganisms as small as 0.3
microns that many HEPA air filters and cleaners leave behind
4th Stage – HEGA - Activated
Military Carbon Cloth
The final stage of filtration of the Austin Air Allergy Machine removes harmful
chemicals and other noxious gases.
Junior Size models have all the great features of the regular Allergy
Machine in a more compact unit for smaller areas. Ideal for a child’s bedroom,
office, or dorm room.
