The Austin Air HealthMate Plus was was designed
with those with chemical sensitivities in mind.
Designed for the removal of volatile organic
compounds, ammonia, formaldehyde, toluene, and other harmful chemicals. The
Austin Air HealthMate Plus offers unparalleled filtration for the removal of these and
other vapors.
The mechanical specifications are identical to
the Austin Air HealthMate HM400 HEPA Air Cleaner and is just as effective in
removing dirt, dust, pollen, mold spores and other allergens.
The activated carbon mix is made from coconut shells and the carbon zeolite
mixture and then is enhanced by the addition of potassium iodide.
The result, more clean air delivered faster and more efficiently than any other
air cleaner on the market.
1st Stage – Pre-filter
The first stage removes the particles large enough to be seen with the naked eye.
Particles like pet hair and household dust.
2nd Stage – Medium Particle Pre-filter
The second stage removes small and medium size
particles such as mold spores and pollen
3rd Stage - 15 lbs. of Activated
Carbon/Zeolite Blend impregnated with Potassium Iodide
Removes chemicals, gases and odors
(e.g. formaldehyde and ammonia)
4th Stage – 60 Feet of True
Medical HEPA Filtration
This stage removes bacteria and other harmful microorganisms as small as 0.3
microns that many HEPA air filters and cleaners leave behind
Junior Size models have all the great features of the regular size HealthMate
Plus in a more compact unit for smaller areas. Ideal for a
