This model air cleaner was
designed with pet owners and pet lovers in mind. In addition to
providing superior filtration of small particles (99.97% of particles as
small as 0.3 microns), the proprietary blend of carbon and zeolite is
specially treated to absorb the ammonia and sulfuric acid that causes
pet odors.
The heart of Austin Air's Pet
Machine is the HEPA filter. The filter is made of 60 square feet of
medical-grade HEPA filtration media. Air is pulled into the machine in a
360° radius and through 4 levels of filtration.
The first level is the air
intake, filtering large particles such as pet hair and dust.
The second level removes
medium and small sized particles such as mold spores and pollens
The third level of
filtration is the 15 pounds of carbon and zeolite treated with
Amoniasorb to remove smells from chemicals, gasses, and pet odors.
Finally, the air flows
through the medical grade HEPA filter where particles as small as 0.3
microns are removed.
Air exits the machine via
the directional airflow vent, allowing you to determine exactly where
you want the highest level of clean air
