S4 is lightweight - only 10 pounds - and very easy to maneuver. The castors are
designed to run smoothly over all types of flooring and navigate any obstacles.
When you need to pick and move to another room just simply insert the
floor tool into the intergrated wand holder. No more scratched walls.
The Antares is packaged with Miele's air-driven Turbobrush; perfect for cleaning low-
t o medium-height carpeting. This floor tool provides superior grooming and
cleaning results on oriental, silk and looped rugs and carpets by delivering a
light agitation of the fibers. For cleaning smooth-floor surfaces, this unit
also includes a Smooth Floor Brush.
Excellent maneuverability
The three smooth-running 360° castor wheels mounted on steel axles ensure
maximum stability and maneuverability for your vacuum cleaner.
They are cleverly designed with a travel ramp to help you maneuver your vacuum
easily over thresholds and around obstructions.
Wide operating radius
The S4 is fitted with an extra long cable to avoid the need of having to change
sockets halfway through vacuuming.
Together with the hose and suction tube, you have an operating radius of 29½
feet.
Super Air Clean Filter
The Super Air Clean filter is
designed for normal use and is made of multi-ply material which is
electrostatically charged to retain dust particles.
It retains 99.95% of particles down to 0.5 of a
micron and 94% of
particles down to 0.3 of a micron.
This filter lasts as long as 5 dustbags and is included free of charge
from Miele with each box of Miele certified dust bags. Optional HEPA filter
available
Six level power adjustment
The power setting on the new S4 can be adjusted on six levels, depending on the
type of flooring you're cleaning or surface you're dusting by simply turning the
dial.
Easy-to-understand graphic symbols indicate which setting is best suited for
different kinds of surfaces, such as rugs and carpets, drapes or hard floors.
Silence setting
All Miele vacuums are known for their quiet operation, but a special sound
insulation makes the S4 particularly quiet.
The new silence setting combines the lowest noise output with the ideal power
level for optimum cleaning results.
Fully integrated set of accessories
To ensure that accessories don't go missing, the S4 features a neat, on-board
storage compartment.
A crevice nozzle for hard-to-reach corners, an upholstery tool for all those
crumbs on the couch and a dusting brush for the cobwebs in the corners are
